Zurich,

Sir,

May I beg of you to write me a reply to my letter of the 8th July, asking for certain information necessary to submit my offer for the Saint Gothard contract in the form you wish. –

I am somewhat at a loss to understand this delay as you have so often impressed me with the necessity that existed for losing no time: – I beg to point out to you the absolute necessity there is to get the question of the Contract decided at once, or it will be too late to do anything on the mountain this season and another year will be lost.

I have the honor to be
Sir
Your obedient Servt

Fred Beaumont.
